In as much as, Atlas Shrugged, Brave New World, 1984, the Matt Bracken novels, and Unintended Consequences are considered fictional novels, they actually predicted the conditions that we are now living in.
John Galt’s resistance by withdrawing production, support and talent from the government and the fascists corporations was very effective. This approach should be a model for all of us, however, the majority of the population will continue to look to the government for solutions. Government is their god and climate change is their religion. The government solutions will all fail, as solutions cannot be built on Kabbalist fiat money, the destruction of personal property rights and trans-humanism.
Soon, we will not only be asking who is John Galt, we will also be asking who is your name, and who are the names of the missing productive people that have given up trying to earn an honest living with unending tax increases.
Universal Basic Income is a banker / communist / government attempt to calm the unemployed population by giving them fiat paper and for the short term, this will work at least until the dollar continues to decrease in value.
Of course, the bankers will replace the fiat dollar with a fiat IMF currency and the shell game will continue for a period of time. And during this time, the bankers will launch other false flags and schemes such as antifa, black lives matter, white racist, and domestic terrorist, so that the population will remain in a state of fear.
