ASHEVILLE, N.C. —
Asheville City Council unanimously passed a resolution Tuesday night to provide reparations to black residents and their descendants. The resolution also apologizes for Asheville’s role historically in slavery and discrimination.
The vote was 7-0 through a virtual meeting posted online.
The resolution does not give direct payments to descendants of slaves, but instead allocates money to areas that traditionally see racial disparities.
Those areas include an effort to increase minority home ownership and access to affordable housing. Investments will also be made to increase minority business ownership and career opportunities. Other priorities include closing gaps in health care, education, pay and fairness within the criminal justice system.
What an excellent idea! Give them all the taxpayer’s money you possibley can so that the minorities can build up their businesses and the BLM will have something to trash and burn down…
And they honestly think that this action will tame the jackals? Not gonna happen!

If things were to stay as rosy as they are currently, which ain’t much, Asheville City will be bankrupt in 5 years. But, if they hit the walls ahead, 2 1/2 until they go under. Maybe that’s optimistic? It’s racial discrimination, and they should get sued out of office. And this whole thing is to repay Asheville’s role in slavery… And 90% of the Blacks in the MC Mountains ancestors didn’t get here until 20-30 years after the War Between The States. They came in to work the rail roads.

Interesting. You would think the local news would be running this as their top news story. It’s nowhere on the local Asheville tv station’s website. I just turned it to the local Asheville channel 6pm news that we receive… aaannd crickets. I don’t think this going to go over well with the citizens of Asheville, and the news channel must agree.
So who picks up the tab?? Not the people who voted for the givaway…..Maybe Owners of real property?? I would expect a big influx of black citizens now….
Everyone in the town should now “identify” as black, and demand their “reparations.”
Listen, and understand. These Creatures are out there. They can’t be bargained with. They can’t be reasoned with. They do NOT feel pity, or remorse, or regret.
