18 U.S. Code § 2384 – Seditious conspiracy
If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.(June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 808; July 24, 1956, ch. 678, § 1, 70 Stat. 623; Pub. L. 103–322, title XXXIII, § 330016(1)(N), Sept. 13, 1994, 108 Stat. 2148.)
Is it sedition if the government of the United States has already been usurped by voter fraud and the people are actually trying to restore the Constitution?

Maybe that is why there is a fence around the capitol in DC and elsewhere. It is protecting those behind it from prosecution.
Old timer, you hit the nail squarely on the head
Speaking of which…

David, the answer is no. Pastor Dr. Chuck Baldwin has a book called Romans 13. That but, he teaches the original meaning of the original language which that chapter was written. What it actually means is that the rulers who rule have a Biblical obligation to God to follow God’s laws. As long as they follow God’s laws, the people have a Biblical obligation to God to follow those leaders. However, it’s a two-edged sword…. when God’s leaders break God’s laws that they lose all biblical Authority according to God. At the same time, God’s people lose their biblical obligation to follow said leaders. We currently have all three branches of our federal government, executive legislative and judicial, who were absolutely corrupt and absolutely in the wrong. They have broken all of God’s laws and continue to do the same. Abortion is just one small example of this. So the answer to your question is no my friend, absolutely no.
Of course not, but then the Oath Keepers … an organization of former military, first responders, and volunteers who pledge to protect our Constitution … you know … our foundational law that both they and the usurpers swore an oath of allegiance to … are now considered domestic terrorists by said usurpers, so, make no mistake, anyone acting against the occupying usurpers will carry that brand.
So the people that actually committed treason are charging people that did not commit treason, with treason.
Sure, why not in this backwards world.
Bingo, we have a winner! This is right out of Saul Alinsky’s play book. Accuse your opponent of what you yourself are doing.
Oh, and speaking for ‘a friend’, he plans to be branded just so.
Hmmmmmmm, the only part of that, that applies to Jan 6th is “force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof “
You know, because congressional pens and paper were taken.
This charge would be weaker than the LOGAN ACT !!!!!!!!!!
Undoubtedly the original Patriots were guilty of ‘sedition’ too!
Perhaps the useful phrase is ‘contrary to the authority thereof’ – ie. they no longer have any authority, since they have illegally conspired to occupy the offices of government!
