Really want to see education improve? BAN GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS.
The Coeur d’Alene School District in Little Portland has tried to do this However, they faced blowback from the parents (the grandchildren of the Woodstock attendees), who whined about not being able to: “…get in touch with our kids in case of an emergency.” So, the district backed off.
I saw it with my own eyes when I briefly worked as a Teacher’s Aide at a local high school in that district. That is why I refer to them as shambling, texting, slack-jawed, mouth-breathing, brain-dead, vaping Mall Zombies. – H/T to WRSA. What that teacher in the video described is the way it should be. And this is why the government schools in Kootenai County are losing enrollment numbers to Charter Schools, Christian/Catholic Schools and Home School Co-Ops. I am praying the trend continues,
Why is this teacher so surprised about removing cell phones from being used while they are in school, he seems baffled over something so simple.
Now ban them at work and workers at hospitals and clinics and see productive workers again.
20 years ago, I worked at a union factory in Ohio, the Plant Manager banned cell phone USE on the factory floor (employees were allowed to use them on break). Not surprising we should do this with kids.
yes. well, maybe at your school. try that in a Baltimore or Chicago school.
Yes cellphones don’t belong in the classrooms. The excuse of a parent not being able to get in touch with their child is pathetic! How did they do it before cell phones! The Silent phones can be kept in front with the teacher during class. No big deal!
