That’s a fantastic instance of helping others out, but the impression seems to be that maybe people weren’t happy there before the accident, or to a degree were trapped in socio-economic circumstances (no one mentioned this being a place they really liked). Maybe this will be a blessing in disguise for many, perhaps leading them to other areas/new beginnings.
This fine young man has the love of God in himself. He is an example and an inspiration for us all. He went to ground zero, possibly at great risk to his own good health, and brought comfort and joy to those living in the valley of the shadow of death.
The commandment: “Love your neighbor as you love yourself.”
The reward: “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
