Regarding the stolen saw in the vehicle comment… personal property is covered under the homeowners policy, NOT the auto policy. Most people have a high deductible anyway, so… I have a $2,000 deductible on my own. It would have to be something very expensive for me to even file a claim; otherwise, my policy will go up anyway. Formerly worked in the insurance industry, so I know.
