you know what? tariffs are paid by the IMPORTER, ie. US companies & consumers!

Canada has chosen NOT to tax ITS OWN CITIZENS through “retaliatory” tariffs – brilliant.

ask an economist.

Who the hell else are they going to sell to? And I cannot find a SINGLE THING in my house that says made in Canada. Even the maple syrup is from New Hampshire (better than VT.)

I recall years ago I bought some cookies at the Dollar Store that were made in Canada. They were good and didn’t have all the ingredients no one could pronounce other than eggs, butter, milk sugar, cinnamon, etc… No wonder we don’t see any of their products on the shelves.

The only thing Canada is importing from the USA these days for free are the fleeing illegal alien murderers , Gang bangers, drug runners and marauders. the fools up there can have the scum with our blessings, we don’t want them in our nation any longer, let them kill, loot and rape there women and children since they love and accept the illegals with open arms. the loony tune liberals. up there deserve them along with there communist Chinese overlords and rag head Sikh heathen Indians, from that filthy slop hole India.

I’m not sure if at the end of the Tariff wars we will be able to say we won. The problem is Trump has 3 years left to arm wrestle our trading partners into a lasting agreement. The corrupt system of American politics created the inequities. This system will still be here as long as political parties exist. Only a complete collapse and replacement of the corrupt political system will change that. All we see at this point is another Cromwell effect. I’m praying for Trump to stay on track so he can live up to his promises and we can get real lasting change.
