This is an excellent example of taking information and turning it into intelligence. China is changing its US dollars into gold. That is information. The observation that this is a prelude to an invasion of Taiwan is intelligence.

More likely the move to gold is to destroy US currency status and SWIFT. BRICS is seen as a safer option for countries since their currency is based on gold and real commodities versus fiat unicorn fairy dust.

Yes, exactly. While Taiwan invasion is a variable in the calculus, it isn’t the only one by far. Massive deficit spending (by democrats and neutered rinos) will do what to the international value of the USD? If your int’l trade was dominated by one trading partner, and that is shifting, you would also shed excess reserves of fungible cash assets of that currency. Taiwan is only one reason it makes sense to do so right now.

Maybe they know something we don’t! Remember gold is real, USD is just paper, posing as money, losing its value daily.

Quayle and I believe it was Dave at x22 used to preach loud and long that if you see China dumping US debt, big, big problems are upcoming.
