It looks more like training for conformity. Creativity has been beaten and bred out of these people. This is why they have to steal innovative ideas.
The old joke about the Chinese is that they invented both paper and gunpowder, but the best they could figure out what to do with them was to pack the gunpowder into the paper to make fireworks. Not far from the truth.

Agreed! Homeschooling if done correctly can teach all the above activities, BUT if done correctly will include ingenuity and innovation. All doing the same thing the same way is suspect to a forced system, not a system that allows a child to think outside the box!

These kids are awesome.
I hope by doing away with the dept. of education at the federal level the states will up the bar for the good our country.
