Comments

There is still discussion concerning editing comments on this site. For those who keep track, I disabled editing because of a bug in the WordPress plugin that showed an edit button for other people’s comments. Since the plugin has been updated, I enabled editing for 1 hour from a comment’s submission.

Please let me know if the plugin is working correctly for regular users.

As to why the plugin is putting some comments into moderation for approved people for no reason, I have no logical idea as to why. If I put my conspiracy hat on, I would say that the government is doing it but I don’t think they really care at this point.

Fed.gov has their hands on everything, probable half or more of my comments go into approval mode. I do not let it bother me, that is just the way it is for now. TINVOWOOT, live free or die.

Hey Dave, you might consider giving Mihdan: Ajax Edit Comments a try. That’s the one I use, it’s never given me any problems at all. Assuming that’s not the one you’re using already.
