I posted an article concerning a gate the has been erected to stop traffic between Chimney Rock and Bat Cave. The following is a thread from that article:
We are at the precipice of WWIII: we need to focus our attention on reality. Misdirection and propaganda have no place on this site. Both of the above people have their commenting privileges revoked until November 29th.
I noticed on some other blogs that they often times have an open comment section for off topic subjects. I wonder if something like that might alleviate the clutter of off topic posts. Unless the off topic posters are intentionally trying to hijack the comments section.
