Data is increasingly suggesting that the first wave of covid-19 in a country (or state) is the worst. The most people get infected during that initial period, as expected with a virus with an R0 this high.
Many US states are still in their first waves, especially those in the South and West seeing re-surging infections. The battle there remains focused on preventing things from getting out of control and overwhelming the medical system.
But it’s possible that previously hard hit areas like New York, Italy and Spain may now have sufficient immunity to avoid a second wave. It’s too soon to know for certain, but if true, this will be very welcome news.
Similarly encouraging is that we now have a better handle medically on how to treat covid patients successfully with early intervention (Tocilizumab, Anakina and, yes, HCQ+). So further outbreaks can hopefully quelled earlier and with fewer mortalities.
Reason to hope? Yes. Can we let our guard down now? Absolutely not.
Covid will never be behind us. Next year covid 21 then 22 then 23. . The only way this ever will go away is with bloodshed I’m sorry to say. And then only if the right blood is on the ground.
When has blood shed ever been the fix? When has it ever ended?
Only once, as far as i know and then the wars waged on. The dogs remain outside the gate!
Then this will be the second time!
So war is the answer? More continued blood shed, Killing(murdering) each other again, this time will assure us of this ever elusive earthly peace?
War may be inevitable, but it is not the ‘answer.’ And it never has been. Have you ever seen a war that ended all wars?
Your recent comment to David on Christianity did not get past me. Would you care to elaborate? i did smile when i saw it, but what point did it make if they do not understand?
Matthew 24:6
You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.
I know that the Lord has a reason for man to have wars and rumors of war. There is one last war coming but I doubt that I do not believe that we are in the end times.
I hope that Chris Martenson is correct but the numbers in the Southwestern part of the US tell a different story.
“There is one last war coming but I doubt that I do not believe that we are in the end times.”
Not sure what you meant.

Also just because many of us have many differing opinions, if we are patient as we are(being) taught and loving (truly caring) should we not arrive at the conclusion we are in fact on the same side?
“Being on the same side” does not mean we are one as the borg.
Know what i mean?
I was referring to the war outlined in the Book of Revelation. I agree with your statement about differing opinions. We cannot be divided by issues that ultimately make no difference other than to have us lose.
i understood the Revelations part. Did not get the,
“I doubt that I do not believe that we are in the end times.”
If we are in the End times scene. Are either side in the right?
Both sides seem worldly to me. Neither side is set- apart.
God is in control during the end times, i believe there to be 3 sides, His side and the two that are at war.

Seems to indicate this is a very different kind of virus….
I saw the article last night. Give me a little bit and I will write my opinion.
