Here in Kootenai County, ID developers and contractors with the full cooperation of local political hacks, are still subdividing vacant land and throwing up cracker box “houses” by the dozens. Granted, they are probably using funds allocated over the last two to four years. But, with the slow increase in bank failures and the FED not lowering interest rates, I wonder how all of these new units will sell. The specter of new and vacant properties all over the landscape can give rise to legions of squatters drifting in from Inslee Land and other Blue Hives. Time will tell. Amerika is verloren.
