Dear Congress

I hope that you Congressmen are doing well on your month long vacation as the world descends into chaos. Just in case you are not aware:

Ukraine has attacked and knocked out Russian oil facilities:

Ukraine attempted a strike on a nuclear power plant in Kursk

The national debt has risen $250 billion since the end of July.

Ukraine Confirms Use Of US-Provided HIMARS Inside Russia. This is justification for Russia to attack the US.

Biden is on vacation in California for a week. I would tell you who is in charge of our “democracy” but you already know the answer.

US Jobs Revised Down By 818,000 In Election Year Shocker, Second Worst Revision In US History

Who is funding Global X airlines:

RFK Jr. is planning to drop out of the 2024 presidential race and endorse Trump. How many of you are promoting the concept of making America great again?

Iran has cleared all air traffic from its western border through August 24th.

Israel continues its genocide of Palestinians.

Congressman Waltz states there was a conspiracy to assassinate Donald Trump.

2.9 billion social security numbers were hacked.

But if you are vacationing in Northern California, you can take advantage of the August snow flurries at Tahoe to discuss global warming.

The king of chaos and his minions are hard at work. Don’t forget the deforestaton of the west and that weird heatwave last July. There is no where to hide, survive, or resist when the forests are gone.

“Israel continues its genocide of Palestinians.”
Just posting this is a show of support. Why, because it is faulty.
You assume “Israel” is trying to get even?
Who provides statistics we can Trust?
Why no post on the DEAD hostages Israel recovered?
One should look at the long history of this war and lifelong warfare. And yes there are many players and many of these people are all being used as pawns.

1700 estimate on the Israeli side to 40,000+ on the Palestinian side?

Your comments about Israel committing genocide on Palestinians is way off the mark. No other country goes to the lengths Israel does to protect civilians. Why not comment on how Hamas uses hospitals and schools to launch their rockets. They put civilians in danger on purpose and you have the nerve to blame Israel.

My answer to you is simple. If Hamas puts down their weapons the war is over immediately. If Israel puts down their weapons, there is no more Israel. Palestinians would not be dying if Hamas returned the hostages and denounced their stand of, Death to Israel. You don’t understand why we support Israel over a terrorist group…………really?

Lyle where pray tell do you get the IDEA that Hamas “putting down their weapons” would STOP the war?

In case you didn’t notice Israel has the Tanks, Artillery (aside from homemade rockets) Aircraft and missiles.

Also, in case you failed to notice the American Revolution was the British against the Colonial Terrorists per letters to King George.

By YOUR Logic all we have to DO to STOP the War against the 2nd Amendment is to Turn in all our weapons and the Leftists would STOP.

Why do I say that? SNIP The Second Amendment was based partially on the right to keep and bear arms in English common law and was influenced by the English Bill of Rights of 1689. Sir William Blackstone described this right as an auxiliary right, supporting the natural rights of self-defense and resistance to oppression, and the civic duty to act in concert in defense of the state.

Did you read self-defense and resistance to oppression?

One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter.

Actually quite a few decades before Moore was born.

And Mike as much as I like your blog, I don’t recall you ever saying you’ve BEEN to Gaza.

Its a walled in open air prison. Before the mysterious failure of IDF spy and fence sensor array and 8 hour DELAY before the IDF responded… The only employment was going through a Check Point Charlie (yes, I saw it in West Berlin and Gaza) to work at jobs that nobody else wanted. And to have to be back through the check point before dark unless granted a pass.

BTW how’s the fundraiser for your brother doing?

Your comment makes no sense. I said if Hamas woulld put down their weapons Israel would stop the war. Israel has not started any of the conflicts in the Middle east, or did you not notice that.

I am not pro to either side, I have eyes to see and ears to hear, I have watching and reading about the conflict now for how many decades, the so called Palestinians AKA hamas has been killing civilians with suicide vests, knives, pistol and rifles and whatever else they could use non-stop while chanting death to Israel. A ceasefire solves nothing, hamas and the rest of the terrorists are dedicated to Israel’s destruction. At this point Israel needs to finish the job once and for all.

“No other country goes to the lengths Israel does to protect civilians.”

We’re joking, right? Have you taken a recent look at what remains behind the Israeli military’s operation now in Gaza? Probably not. Well, to make it short–the aftermath Hiroshima looked better in some ways. It’s not a military operation–it’s ‘blood lust.” It’s ethnic cleansing on a mass scaled with little to no media coverage here in the USA. In fact it’s even being covered up and aided by conservative media here.

I wonder what you would do if there was a large-scale war here in the USA which forced you to evacuate your home or farm. And when you came back (that is if you were allowed to come back) you’d find a bunch of religious nut-jobs squatting on your properties… telling you that their religious scriptures says that your land is now ‘their land–and always was their land.” I wonder what you would do. What would you do if some religious nut-jobs had their police deport you from your land (on the premise of an anonymous denunciation)–put you in a fenced in area, in hovel where you had to exist off the crumbs of those who subjugate you. What would you do? And to make matters even worse–you’d look across the no-man’s-land barrier over to where your home once stood, and there is a commie-camp (Kibutz) going up. Or a strip mall. Or a corporate strawberry farm. I think your first reaction would be to reach for you Glock and all the mags you could carry. Right?

This is literally what is taking and has taken place in Israel over the last eight decades. And you wonder just why Arabic people take up arms against Israel. FYI–it’s now just the Muslims, it’s also Arab Christian who’ve joined their cause as well (20% of Arabs are Christians in the region–see Danny and Marlo Thomas)

No I’m not joking. What other country sends out pamphlets telling civilians to evacuate. Israel uses precision rockets to minimize damage. Of course when your enemy is using schools and hospitals to launch rockets, there is going to be collateral damage. You comparison of Gaza and Hiroshima is ridiculous it’s not even close to being the dame. Twenty percent of the population of Israel is Arabs, who are represented in the government. Is any Israeli represented in an Arab government? The Arabs living in Israel do not want to move to any Arab country, that is a telling sign of which country deserves our support. The rest of your letter is misinformation, the kind we get from haters who refuse to see the truth.

Nonsense. If Israel really wanted to genocide “Palestinians,” a non-existent “race” from a non-existent “nation,” then the “Palestinians” (mostly Jordanians and Egyptians, actually) would have ceased to exist decades ago.

Mike isn’t THAT argument the REASON we Keep and Bear Arms?

So, they cannot cheaply just kill off our “Domestic Terrorists”?

Funny how YOUR Argument could be part of the DNC’s Platform today?

What nobody is talking about in Gaza and the West Bank are how many Christian churches, monuments, schools, hospitals and homes have been destroyed and how many Christians have been killed by Israel. But then, that doesn’t fit in with the narrative, so we’ll just ignore that. Kind of like how the native Christian population in Iraq, which had been protected by Saddam Hussein, was pretty much genocided after the US and our allies “liberated” the country.

Regardless of where you stand on this issue, from a true American’s perspective: NOT MY CIRCUS. NOT MY MONKEY. There will be no peace in this corner of the world so long as one Israeli and one Moslem is left alive. George Washington had it right when he urged Americans to avoid any foreign entanglements.

Tsk tsk tsk. Here we go again arguing about the Middle East. Our founders were very clear about staying out of foreign entanglements. Trump has the correct message, America First, America Strong. We should never engage any foreign nation involved in violent conflict. By default the perception is we take a side. The best way to help is to turn our backs on all sides involved violent conflicts until they can learn to play nice. We can shower those who solve their problems peacefully with love, praise, advice, and trade.
