I am a child of the “Greatest Generation”, a Boomer. I was born to resist tyranny whether it be a tyrannical person or institution. I learned to spell on words like anti-disestablishmentarianism. I walked in civil rights marches in my home state of Georgia when the legacy media said white women didn’t do that. I fought for women to be legally entitled to more than $5 an hour in jobs that men were making $15. I helped establish the right of women to have credit in their own name, own property and be able to bring lawsuits to protect themselves. I supported children by helping to establish guidelines for abuse and awareness within families and institutions where it goes on. I befriended the Cambodians dumped into my urban neighborhood by helping them to find land to raise their goats rather than raise them on the balcony of their apartment building. I spent a year of Wednesday nights teaching a second generation welfare family how to balance a checkbook, read notices sent in the mail, save a down payment and buy a home. I have given my last $20 to help the people in Hati. I have stood up for veterans coming home from Viet Nam, Afghanistan, and off our own streets. I have screamed at the top of lungs about the invading army of social justice warriors since the 1970s when I documented it and sent it to President Regan. I have tried to reconcile my daughter’s death at the hands of the local drug cartel, by working with State hearings on the matter. I fought the Californization of Colorado until I realized it was only possible to stall the process, not stop it. I have worked as a professional to preserve American culture within cities by nominating National Register Landmarks for buildings and neighborhoods in different states. And much more…
I have earned the right to say what want to say when I want to say it; to speak truth anywhere I think it needs to said; to express my love for Jesus anywhere and anytime; to call crap, crap when I smell it; and to support any human person that I feel meets the criteria for leadership and responsibility without the expectation of being censored, jailed, physically threatened with “re-education”, relocation, or death because this is my country.
In short, I may not be famous or exceptionally rich, but I am an authentic stakeholder in this country. I will not give over even an inch to nefarious, godless, individuals or those who expound their twisted virtues of tyranny which they believe are necessary to remake the world into their safe and peaceful “place”.
As long as Boomers are alive, these bureaucrats who believe themselves to be all powerful, invisible, and deadly, are about as secure in their world as a fishbowl in a kindergarten. The schemes of these individuals have yet to face the wall of stakeholders out here who are just like me.
Again, I say:” drunk, stoned or bedraggled the Boomers are true lovers of Freedom and the cosmic agents of change”. Government Bureaucrats believe that they will simply kill us and take all we own. I say, they will try but many of them will go with us when they do. It’s gonna be a party, man!
