Tom, this is what the people of this nation have turned into, a nation of worms only caring about Saturday and Sunday night football games and stuffing their bellies with chips and beer. this in itself is not wrong, but this pastime has become their idols while the nation is burning down around them and their families. They are funding their own demise.
