I was having a conversation tonight where someone suggested that all we have to do is support the Constitution. My response was: “How do we do that when most people do not know what the Constitution states?” A few minutes later, we were watching Glenn Beck and the author of Battlefield America: The War on the American People, John Whitehead said the same thing.
So here is his simple test: name the five rights guaranteed in the fist amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
First Amendment Schools are dedicated to educating for citizenship by teaching and modeling the democratic principles of the Constitution of the United States. Schools take this mission seriously by providing all members of the school community with daily opportunities to exercise their constitutional rights with responsibility.
These are fundamental and inalienable rights. All Americans have a civic responsibility to guard these rights for every citizen.
In 1982, my family found a SWAT team on our 30 acre farm, hiding in the barn, waiting for the sun to rise in Barrow County Georgia, so that they could execute my father, John B. McMillan for “Terrorist Threats” after pointing a gun at a Sheriffs Deputy serving papers.
I’ll have a little hope for our future when I find a Ninth Amendment Center, and I observe people discuss the importance of other Rights of man that remain un-enumerated in the contract that established a national government over the several States.
