You can’t be a defender of freedom and willingly limit the type of weapons you’ll use because you *might* upset the liberals.

only ‘liberals’ would be willing to limit the types of weapons anyone would use

I think it all depends on where your home is and who you are defending it from. I am not sure a rifle shooting a pistol caliber is on anyone that is serious about defending themselves top 10 list. If I am going to use a weapon that limits me to a range of under a 100 yards, it is a shotgun with a slug. Nothing says get out and stay out like an ounce of lead. Well unless you are in the Amityville Horror house. Then get out has a whole new meaning.

That is why I have a couple. I was just playing along with Wild Bill’s reasoning. With the main reason being the availability of ammo. To be honest the 7.62 NATO is a far better round, but my budget can not afford it.

Where did you get I want to ban any weapon from what I wrote? I personally believe that any weapon be it a pistol or a A10 should be allow to be own. But I would be interested in seeing where you got I wanted to ban any weapon. My point is that a rifle shooting a pistol round for defensive purposes is a silly idea nowadays.
