I’ve got the arrow pointing to me.
A Veteran is someone who, at one point in his/her life wrote a blank check made payable to ‘The United States of America’ for an amount up to and including ‘my life‘.
Remember that Oath you took never expires.
Happy Veterans’ Day
Thanks, Wes. Ditto. Let those of us who swore the Officers’ Oath and served a career that one, we never quit serving, and two, we ultimately serve a power greater than ourselves.
Happy Veterans Day, John
I was at Lackland quite a while before you…
“I am an American fighting man. I am prepared to give my life in her defense.”
Good morning,
This is from a group that i became a little connected to during the Obama years. i believe this is the oath i was required to take. 1981
i did distance my self from this group after looking into the “leadership” etc…..
The Oath for Enlisted Service Members
“I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.” (Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962).
What if the orders of an illegal President are at odds with the orders of officers appointed over the enlisted?

The question asked stirred a lot of people up, nothing much came of it. So i ask now: Is Donald Trump a Legal president? How far are you willing or committed to following him?
There may come a day when we hope people in the military do not follow orders of a “president!
What if the orders of an illegal President are at odds with the orders of officers appointed over the enlisted?
The rest of the Oaths are all posted on the link provided.
Wes.
This Oath never expires? Not sure anymore, have heard it said many times, but even so,
i choose to put God First and not last. Have you noticed this at the end, so help me God?
There is something wrong with so much of what we have been led to think and believe. We should all seek the Truth and continue to be vigilant.
And yes,”i was a good boy” lol i made my rank and pay grade on time. Honorably discharged. Do not regret my service a bit, it was an eye opener, and learning experience. i do not need nor want thanks, nor even a day of remembrance.
