EPA waives fuel rule in 4 states after Indiana refinery fire threatens fuel supply

The Environmental Protection Agency temporarily lifted a federal rule for fuel sales in four states, including Indiana, in response to a fire last week at an Indiana oil refinery that could affect gas prices and supply.

The emergency waiver was granted Saturday for Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin, EPA Administrator Michael Regan said. In a letter to state officials, Regan said the agency determined the waiver is necessary “to minimize or prevent disruption of an adequate supply of gasoline to consumers.”

well i can say i lve here in IND. and sorry to say i watch early moring news ( local) and did not hear any thing about this , well again it was in my back door and all we heard was crickes.. i am so feed up with our US has came down to. and iam ready and waiting and do my part to get back our country.. WAKE THE FUCK UP PEOPLE, BEFOR ITS TO LATE. VOTING IS NOT GOING ANYTHING..( REALLY).. DONT LET ME BE THE ONLY ONE THAT SEE THIS
