Doctors are free to prescribe ivermectin to treat COVID-19, a lawyer representing the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said this week.
“FDA explicitly recognizes that doctors do have the authority to prescribe ivermectin to treat COVID,” Ashley Cheung Honold, a Department of Justice lawyer representing the FDA, said during oral arguments on Aug. 8 in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.
The case was brought by three doctors who allege the FDA unlawfully interfered with their practice of medicine with the statements.

A federal judge dismissed the case in 2022, prompting an appeal.
“The fundamental issue in this case is straightforward. After the FDA approves the human drug for sale, does it then have the authority to interfere with how that drug is used within the doctor-patient relationship? The answer is no,” Jared Kelson, representing the doctors, told the appeals court.
The FDA on Aug. 21, 2021, wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter:
“You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it.”
How many were put on vents and remdesivir and murdered? I personally know people who were. None of those responsible should be able to skate on this.
I wonder if the states (like Washington) who suspended doctors for prescribing ivermectin will be held accountable for the losses sustained by the doctors and their patients? How about the AMA threatening doctors who prescribed it?
My doctor told me back in 2021 that she wrote 1 prescription for Ivermectin for a patient and got a call from someone in the federal government the next day telling her they would revoke her medical license if she wrote another prescription for Ivermectin.

For nearly three years, the FDA, officials of the Biden Administration, the CDC, the U.S. medical system and the corporate news media pushed the claim that the only successful way to fight and win the battle against Covid was by following the official, approved, and recommended guidelines -- namely; ventilators, Remdesivir, and by being injected with the new “safe and effective” mRNA “vaccines.”
They further claimed that other treatments, like Ivermectin, were “unsafe and ineffective” against Covid, and they mocked and crucified any doctors who dared to treat their patients with drugs like Ivermectin.
But, on both counts, they were absolutely wrong. In fact, they have now been proven to be KNOWINGLY wrong. Very early on, they knew that ventilators and Remdesivir would not cure patients dying of Covid but only make them worse off and make them more likely to die due to their “approved” treatment! They new that the drug Ivermectin, used early, was not just “safe” but very “effective” in curing Covid and saving countless lives.
Also, there has been massive amounts of evidence -- presented by people like Dr. David Martin, Karen Kingston and many, many others -- that the Covid disease, and the Covid jabs themselves, are in fact bio-weapons deliberately designed to murder millions of people and reduce world population.
So far, their plan is working quite well. They have murdered, and maimed, and permanently injured millions upon millions of people worldwide and have made vast fortunes while doing so.
One way or another, this cannot stand. They must be brought to justice.
Most drugs are packaged for both human and animal sales and use. Funny how fish antibiotics are so much cheaper than the pharmacy versions, and that is comparing drug names, doses, etc
