Trijicon ACOG weapon sights One ACOG I am particularly fond of is the 3X30 dual illuminated ACOG with the 7.62×39 BDC for the AK Almost 10 years ago we started using ACOG weapon sights on our AKs. This has allowed us to drastically increase rates of first round hits at 300 yards and further- yes with an AK. These work great for CQB use also. These dual illuminated ACOGs REQUIRE NO BATTERIES! The dual illuminated reticle allows for proper sighting at night and low light conditions. The 3×30 magnification allows you to reach out further and to also look “into” areas of shadow at distance. This is the ultimate SHTF optic for the ultimate SHTF rifle- the AK! Comes complete with mount. I’ve run these mounted up front on an Ultimak mount that replaces the gas tube and because you use these with both eyes open, it’s not a problem whatsoever to run them upfront like that. Or if your rifle has the rail on the side of the receiver, a standard mount like in the picture on the website works fine and gives a more “normal” eye relief set up.
