I watched this on newsmax, I found it hilarious and as you can see so did Rob Finnerty.

“Now the saucer men are as strange as can be. They’re not like you and they’re not like me. They don’t come from here and they don’t come from there. They come from a place way up in the air!
Where? Way up in the air! “-H/T to Beanie and Cecil – circa early 1950’s. It was a cartoon show in SoCal my bro and I watched when we were kids.

You can laugh all you want at the idea of UAP/UFO stuff. And this guy in the video (Greer) is just a gadfly now in this area. But I have a feeling that when this stuff comes completely into the light, there will be very little laughing or chuckling–especially from the evangelical types who will have their paradigms shattered.

I am trying to find the title to a SciFi short story I read decades ago wherein some Earth astronauts landed on an Earth-like planet in the middle of a huge conflict: some person was being marched up a hill, carrying a cross, so as to be crucified for “fomenting insurrection.”
Basically, the idea that EVERY sentient planet in God’s Great Universe needs its own version of sacrifice & salvation.
The question was: should the astronauts intervene in the execution?
[That’s why I’m trying to find the story; would love to read once more].

Star Trek did a similar story along these lines–where they came to a planet like the Roman Empire… and people were worshiping ‘The Sun” and being persecuted. And Ohura corrects Captain Kirk, ‘no Captain, not ‘the sun’ –the son of God.’

How will people react when they discover that there are beings out there that are tens of thousands, or even millions of years more advanced than us human bags of walking meat. Or even so advanced that they look upon us as we would look upon cockroaches.

Just a few hundred years ago, you could have been burned at the stake by the Catholic Church for believing the world was round.

These ‘evangelical types’ are now contending that these UAP/UFO stuff is ‘demonic’ –which is the knee-jerk reply to the realities of the situation. They contend that the phenomena being displayed is ‘supernatural.’ But these people fail to realize that any type of ultra-advanced technology would appear as ‘magic’ to people who are less advanced. See Ezekiel’s Wheel.

FYI–astronomers have recently concluded that they have detected signs of ‘industrial activity’ on Proxima B, Alpha Centuri, 4.2 light years away. Now if this pans out–it is entirely possible to have long-distance conversations with such a civilization using radio or lasers. We’d could receive an answer 8 1/2 years after a contact attempt.

we fly 4000 miles in 9 hours what if there are those that fly 9 million light years in 4 seconds.

Some out here know more than they all let on, no fun stuff with all this. Friend, I grew up with, Eagle scout and air force vet, told me of things that were fantastical, but his seriousness was an indicator to me of things bigger than both of our understanding. Months after that conversation, he was dead.
