Interesting. We used Wagner equipment in the kilns at the mill in north Idaho I used to work in. We were drying soft woods for studs, so it was much more a turn-and-burn operation than the level of care that is required for hardwoods for furniture. In my experience the Wagner equipment is good product, but as with all things wood-drying related it is only as good as the man using it.
Now thats a hell of a slab, i love working with stuff like that.
I have a better chance of buying that slab though than winning a moisture meter
