You really think teachers get paid 12 months? Teacher get a PAYCHECK 12 months a year but pay for 10 months a year, spread over 12 months. So they get less take home per month in exchange for having a paycheck all year. That includes paying insurance premiums over the months you don’t get a check also. At least in Florida.
