German city faces cold showers, dark monuments ahead of Russian gas crisis

The German city of Hanover was the first major city in the country to announce sweeping energy-saving measures Thursday in an effort to reduce energy consumption as Russia cuts off exports to Europe.

The new restrictions rolled out to conserve gas include turning off the hot water to bathrooms and showers in any city-run building, the Guardian reported Thursday.

“Every kilowatt hour counts, and protecting critical infrastructure has to be a priority,” Mayor Belit Onay said.

Under the rules, municipal buildings will also only be heated from the beginning of October through the end of March, and only to a maximum of 68 degrees.

After energy reallocations are put in place, the proles will have to deal with food rationing. The price for their vote and voter fraud was only their Liberty, food and shelter. On the bright side, imagine if the proles were armed as in the United States?

On the other hand, never mind. Go back to watching TV.

“Real power is achieved when the ruling class controls the material essentials of life, granting and withholding them from the masses as if they were privileges.”

This goes to why it will be so difficult to find fighters in any organized capacity to fight a singular opponent, and why civil war is more likely, as what supposedly constitutes much of the public square, being there has been no real functioning of the domestic realm, which has been repeatedly usurped for decades that has in effect, broken the bonds between people and ‘their’ country. Many people have realized that the churches, and much of what’s called conservatism, capitalism, voting, political correctness (largely, rule through imposed artificiality, and duplicity), as well as problems with the democratic left, the pushing of discordant agendas and the taking away of rights, constitutes the agitating forces in many ways; for instance, telling people to work harder, in a rigged capitalist system, in order to sustain themselves, when it’s being systematically withheld from them (hence, the working of two and three jobs), and this withholding applies to healthcare, education, and overall mobility, that reinforces the acknowledgement that the people wouldn’t fight for them. This is why there is no reliable social underpinning.

Expecting people who essentially know nothing about their civic responsibilities, because they weren’t properly taught their form of government, history and laws, and have no historical context for war, domestic uprisings, and as accordingly, to rally and band together, even in difficult times, is like expecting someone to be able to pay their bills in this defunct economic dualism.

Unfortunately I see the same occurring here in the US. I have put in a wood burning stove, am still buying food, and have bought a lot of ammo but as of yet not enough. When the dice is cast you live with the results. Far better to make your own decisions.

BASF is going to cut way back on manufacturing chemicals for fertilizer, because of the energy cutbacks in Germany. The Great Famine is approaching.
