I worked on various projects in Germany for a number of years and I can tell you most Germans conform to just about anything the government wants. I never met a German that owned a firearm. Even if they were willing to resists the communist German government they have no way to do it other then demonstrations. Germans really are rule followers. They would not even resist the mass invasion of muslims from the 3rd world. Of course the same thing is happening on our Southern border and we are not doing anything either.
