I doubt it is intentional, but highlights a good point. In the movie series we root for the rebels who are fighting against the democratically elected federal government….
Depending on where you were raised and went to grade school, the years of 1861 – 1865 are considered either the Civil War, or the War of Northern Agression.
What will historians write about this period of time, and will it be as accurate as historians of the past? Sorry, threw up in my mouth a little after typing that last sentence.
Guess that depends on who the winner is. They always get to write the history books.

I don’t suppose I get a say, but I think I’d rather learn Russian then Chinese.

The Han are the most racist people on earth, on a par with the (((usual suspects))), and will treat us worse than dogs.

The Russians will see us more as prodigal brothers.
