- Army Corp of Engineers
We have to understand that no one is coming to help us from the government and they want us dead.

Praying that all of the organizations that are sending people (Samaritan’s Purse, Mercury One, churches, etc…) are able to help as it really doesn’t look like the government has any interest. Feels like the same lack of response we heard about in East Palestine and Lahaia (? spelling).
And we probably won’t unless they are there to ship shit to the Ukraine
Could one of the folks administering/contributing to this site please post information about donating to local churches or perhaps NC Renegade community folk who are on the ground there and would be willing to receive mailed donations that could help folks they know/know of? (Been on the ground at Katrina and multiple times in Haiti as a nurse, and do not care to donate to organizations if avoidable). Would rather get it directly into the hands of folks there or planning to go in to help POV from outside communities.
It was the same here for the flood of 2016 and hurricane Ida in 2021. FEMA and the feds nowhere to be found. I work in emergency services so I would have seen them. During Ida, FEMA landed at our small regional airport for a photo-op and was gone in 24 hours.
You know who showed up in 2016? Trump, with an 18 wheeler full of supplies that he helped unload in the Louisiana heat.
What do the years 2016 and 2021 have in common?
Not seeing many photos of FEMA or the Guard either. Lots of stories on axios, cnbc, aljazerra, nbc news, abc news but it’s over multiple states. FEMA spokesmen are saying food and water is being distributed in North Carolina but I don’t see any pictures. Seen some first responder crews, volunteers, and one Guard helicopter. The boots may still be overseas. What a disaster. Well it just goes to show it’s just us and God during these times. I hope everyone takes away a good lesson from this and prepares for the future. For now, everyone just has to do what they have to to get through this one. Prayers are out for you.
Insofar as I can determine, the FedGov response to the Helene Havoc is underwhelming.
I read somewhere that politicians, during the approach to a major election, are very cognizant of how their reactions to natural disasters can affect their wins/losses.
The fact that they seem somewhat casual-to-disinterested in the fates of Americans in the devastation zones may mean that THESE POLITICIANS--DEMOCRATS ALL--ARE NOT CONCERNED WITH THE VOTE because:
a. They know that the fix is in
or
b. They know that there will not even BE an election.
Please note that the areas most devastated are ‘DEEP RED’ politically… and therefore MUST BE PUNISHED politically. This is why there are delays and bottlenecks. It’s done on purpose. No one is this incompetent FYI. There are even reports of coordinated attacks of truck tires being slashed on Interstate 40 heading into the disaster zone--done by organized BLUE LEFTIST OPERATIVES as punishment. If you saw that movie, “The Hunt” with Betty Gilpin (who has an awesome rack BTW). you can get a preview of what these leftists think about conservative people (in that you should all die--violent deaths). This is how they are playing the game against you. Wrap your skulls around this please.
If they/them were serious about getting help into the area--you would see wave of military helicopters from not only the National Guard, but regular military down to the US Coast Guard swarming the area with supplies, medics, water treatment plants and so forth. Biden could have lifted his finger a couple days ago and it would have been done--but no. They F’d and donked it off for political reasons.
