Its another example of the deluded world these nutjobs live in.
What’s worse, is they think they’re intelligent and well educated.
I had to help 3 college students yesterday with a stranded automobile. It was out of gas, they had a gas-can, couldn’t figure out how to get the gas from the can into the car.
I SHIT YOU NOT!
It was one of those new-government-improved gas cans w/ the tip you need to press in to get it to work… they couldn’t. They knew the red button did something, but… there they were with a dead car and a gallon of fuel, and were still stranded.
I took the spout off and poured it in.
They were all on their phones face-timing friends somewhere, so technically we had 6 college brains unable to figure out how to use a gas can.
“Oh man, he’s just raw-dogging it right in there!”
Go ahead and try starting it I instructed the young girl. She was afraid. She didn’t want to while I had the panel open on the car that covered the gas cap (cap was re-installed and closed). I could only blink at them and inform them their parents failed them in many respects.
These are the people that are 18+, are voting for crap like this tweet.
Had a gallon of gas, couldn’t get it into the tank. I’ve carried fuel to my car in a plastic bag before!
Fascinating. I wouldn’t have believed it true if it didn’t happen to me.

There is an old saying that goes like this: How may highway workers do you need to dig a ditch? Answer: Four. One to dig the ditch, and three to watch and come to consensus that it’s being done right. One supervisor making sure its done safely, One inspector making sure the hole is dug to specification, and One engineer to boast about it.

As Malcolm X so succinctly states, “Only a fool would let his enemy educate his children”.

I’ve done a great deal of genealogy research on my family. The thing that stuck me was that the majority the Greatest Generation in my family had less than an 8th grade education. Think about this for a minute, The Americans who defeated Hitler and the Imperial Japs had an education that focused on 5 things. Reading, Writing, Arithmetic, Civics, and American History. These should be the focus in public school at least up to the 8th grade. The church and parents supplied the rest.

I mean unless you are going on to an academic or professional career what more do you really need? It may be better if we went back to that model where primary school went to the 8th grade and then a decision is made to either enter a trade or go onto a profession that needs a college degree.

Industry and society in general must recognize this as well and stop playing into the lies the current education system puts out. When was the last time a doctor, lawyer, or teacher could fix a broken toilet, build a house, fix the HVAC, or wire a house? Think about how much money is wasted in high school for students going into the trades and how many woke teachers that will not be needed. I’m not saying this is the best solution but it’s an area that needs real discussion.

As far as homeschooling goes, there is no logical reason not to support homeschooling K thru 8 primary education as long as there is some form of community socialization.

I know a guy that was a history teacher turned guidance counselor. It was in northern NJ. He retired at 57. His pension was $52,000. At this point he is near or over $1 million in payments. I think he is happy the gubmint runs education.

who cares the $?
consider the cost to your child’s
spirit soul future!
for me- those were priceless
my own home schooled children are grown,
run successful businesses ( oldest son for instance has branches in Caribbean, central and south america, japan, taiwan and is looking at viet nam and is homeschooling his 7 children)
an old saying-
you get out what you put into something.
plus, I wouldn’t trade the hours and years spent one on one with them
while educating them.

I live in a small town in East Texas population is approximately 1,300 people. The low effort high, reward communist teachers and the school board control the town and run the school district like a cartel. The teachers do not tolerate anyone that tries to reduce school taxes. The local schools are rated by the State of Texas as “B” performance level schools. 38% of the high school students are classified as “At Risks” because they have no reading or math skills, however, and surprisingly, 100% of the high school students graduate. The college placement exams for the high school have declined every year for decades. It appears the more money the school district extorts from the tax payers the lower the college place exam scores go. There are only 3 schools in the town and all 3 schools have world class buildings. The high school gym makes a new commercial gym look shabby. Every school bond issue passes -- of course, the teachers run the school bond election process and they count the votes. Now the teachers only attend class just 160 days per year. The teachers demand a performance bonus every year. They are the highest paid people in the county. School taxes are outrageous. Now the teachers are demanding a 4 day work week because they have stress issues. Of course, no one but teachers have employment stress. BTW, the school district absolutely despises Home Schooling. If you have no kids in school you should be exempt from school taxes, other wise, the school taxes are just extortion. Who is $ John Galt?

I live in a remote small town in Wyoming where the average income is probably $35,000 p/a, yet the school administrators make over $100,000.
This is not sustainable.

Over $100,000? Not bad. However, not bigtime. In South Brunswick, NJ, the school superintendent in 2022 signed on for 5 years. That first year salary was $261,000. His salary increases 3.2% every year. Location, location, location!!!!

NJ is an anti-American cesspool. They haven’t, in all of our history, printed enough money to make me live in that fuckin dump. YMMV.
