Americans need to learn what the word jingoism means.
We are not invincible anymore. Accept it, or it will cause more harm. Empires rise, emprirles fall. This empire has ended, it just hasn’t accepted it yet.

I keep trying to convey this notion to those around me, and it just isn’t sinking in for most yet. At some point the realization will set in, and there will be much angry wailing over the loss of perceived status.
