The Iran-backed Houthi rebels have successfully tested a hypersonic rocket in Yemen, Russian state news agency RIA Novosti reports, citing a military source.

According to the report, the Houthis are planning to begin manufacturing the missiles for use against targets in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden, as well as Israel.

The Yemen-based terror group has said that it would escalate attacks during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan in solidarity with Palestinians amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.

Hypersonic is American technology. And now our enemies are using it against us. And our hypersonic stockpiles are depleted. What’s wrong with this picture?

The Russians do hypersonics. This is obviously not a ‘honey badger of the middle east’ weapon. It means Russia is behind Iran is behind the Houthis.
The Americans are not doing so well in hypersonics.
Also, this does not bode well for shipping.

Spot on. Though I doubt the Houthis have a means for production.
We could be using this tech, yet the pentacon suppresses tech to the point ‘we’ as a free People don’t have access to the fuel. Mazda has created a 1200mi range car using similar tech. Access to most of technology is restricted to registered corporations. The belligerent are ruling over the ashes.

The US doesn’t have hypersonic missiles. Russia, China and Iran have them. So far.

LOL You need to spend a few minutes looing up stuff before you post

SNIP:

Minuteman III Details:
Age: Existing Minuteman III missiles are now more than fifty years old and are gradually declining due to obsolescence

And As for the Trident II (D5LE) missiles themselves, they have been in operation since 1989 and have achieved an impressive track record of 191 successful missile launches. These missiles are known for their unmatched reliability and accuracy234.

The UGM-133A Trident II (Trident D5) remains a critical component of the United States’ and Royal Navy’s strategic deterrence capability. It was first deployed in March 1990 and continues to serve as a vital part of our nation’s sea-based strategic defense5.

The vaunted British Navy has given the world TWO Awesome Trident D5 demonstrations BOTH FAILED TO LAUNCH properly.

I think the technical tern used last time was BLOOP.

Yeah, our “Cost Cutting” efforts have shown REAL RESULTS.

The Russians and Chinese are way ahead of the US in this technology. Most of our test platforms have failed. Iran has hypersonic missiles as well. The Houthi’s have most likely obtained these from Iran. Contrary to US sources (read government) Iran likely also has at least five nukes.

Well, it would appear that the United States has ‘released the kraken’ or opened Pandora’s Box. Our constant meddling in the affairs of other countries and the absolute corruption at home has resulted in a world filled with chaos. As has been said, the chickens are coming home to roost. Anyone joining the US military at this point gets what they deserve. Unfortunately, the rest of us will probably get it, too. We can’t say our Founders didn’t warn us.

Oh, and on The Yemen-based terror group. Odd how we always respond to people fighting to expel us from their countries as terrorists. King George did the same with our Founders. One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter.

…it would escalate attacks during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan” Anyone see anything odd with the above statement from the article?

Well, Nobody that is accurate and about 1/4 of the world’s population.

Good news (maybe) is that only about 2% of America are Muslim at this time. Pity is there are a larger % of self hating Liberals that would gladly be the prayer rug for them.

That’s part of the reason I close so often with Protect your TRUSTED Family as it’s been eye opening just listening in on some of my friends’ kids in the Big City coffee shop.

Seems even the ardent all-American Parents can find that their kids are influenced by Collage “Friends”.

The fighting began with an attack by Palestinian militant group Hamas on southern Israel on October 7, resulting in about 1,160 deaths, most of them civilians, according to an AFP tally based on official Israeli figures.
“Israeli figures.”

Israel’s retaliatory offensive in the Gaza Strip has killed 30,534 people, mostly women and children, according to the health ministry in the Hamas-ruled territory.
“Health ministry” of Hamas, whos stated goals have always revolved around the total destruction of Israel and ALL Jews no matter how much land they have been granted!

Why would any one believe the Hamas numbers? Women and children? Is this what you truly believe to be True, given the history of these people, these groups?

I don’t think the Palestinians were granted land. Their land was stolen by European Zionists. And every day more Palestinian land is stolen. They’re not allowed to have a country. The Zionists won’t give permission for that. So, if you don’t have a country, you can’t have an army to defend your people or what’s left of your land. What’s left? Asymmetric warfare. And it was the US and Israel that created Hamas. To compete with and diminish the PLO. Crazy place. No easy answers. Peace be upon us all.
