The only thing I would improve on his shelter, would be to sand bag the roof, enemy fire would put a lot of shrapnel into his position.
Again more good information, I had not thought of or read about.
As far as field phones go, not many are still available; however old dial phones can be easily modified with an added battery to do the same thing.
Almost any wire will do so get it now, if you can’t find old phones a small lamp or even a speaker will do as well.
Why the F would you advertise you have such fighting positions!!
