Huge Win for Election Integrity: North Carolina Republicans Override Democratic Governor’s Veto

The Republican-led legislature in North Carolina has struck a blow for election integrity by overturning Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper’s veto of an election law he claimed was a “threat to democracy.”

The bill, SB 749, made material changes to the state’s election law by establishing bipartisan election boards, according to The Hill.

The bill would take control of election boards away from the governor’s party and put them under the control of a group split equally between Democrats and Republicans. This, Cooper claims, will create gridlock when deciding early-voting locations and certifying results.

The North Carolina legislature was able to override Cooper’s veto because they have a three-fifths, veto-proof majority in the state capital in Raleigh. The Senate voted 30-19 to override Cooper’s veto while the House vote came in at 72-44.

The individual States must fight for their rights or we are sunk. The States which still value liberty must band together. Time is running out.

I knew our legislature would have overridden the obama/obiden communist Marxist flunky we have. This is the beginning of a new day for all conservative/republican voters who will now control the boards equally. the democrats are fuming over this and there is nothing this filthy degenerate party of criminals can do. The playing field is leveled for the time, and they no longer will control the voting rules and fraud they perpetrate on honest voters. Oh, everyone must have a legitimate form of identification which the democrats fought against for years. many democrats will try committing suicide over this and this is a good thing, we need to rid ourselves of this Marxist Bolshevik party.

Anything that hammers democracy (communism) and supports the representative republic, which we have, is a great idea!

Anything to rile up Cooper is a good thing.
As a side note, when is this “veto proof” majority going to vote on Constitutional carry?
