Guy has been melting down a lot lately.
Blames all the problems of the world on us boomers, says he’s tired of carrying the load for us.
I enjoyed his practical knowledge, but he’s gone full emo.

The softening of a man’s heart does seem to do this. The Bible gives warning of the opposite.
Fairly acquainted with his videos, used to watch a few. Not really my thing. Many of us know this worlds problems far exceeds the boundaries of the “boomers.”
He looks to be quite sincere and i wish him well on his journey.

That is an awesome testimony! I grew up rough, even though my parents would drag me to church occasionally. In 1979 at the age of 19 I gave my life to Jesus, and He accepted me even though I was a straight up heathen….probably saved me from the penitentiary….or from dying in some drunken testosterone fueled mix up with some undesirable people….best decision I ever made! Hopefully his testimony, or someone else’s, will spur others to accept the loving grace of our Lord and Savior!

Awesome testimony from Wrangler Star and James in the comments! We need more men willing to be a witness and tell their story.
Are you saved? Who saved you? What are you saved from? Every man is in need of a savior, they just haven’t crossed that path yet. A drowning man hopes to get saved. A man caught in burning building is looking for that fireman to save him. Right now someone being robbed is hoping a policeman will save him. Little does the world know they need a Saviour for eternal life. I played that game for 39 years not understanding what exactly was at stake. Sure, I went to church, raised on a tobacco farm in NC. Walked the aisle and was baptized at 15 but it had no effect. All for show. Joined the Army after graduation and lived like the prodigal son for the next 18 years of my life. Completed multiple combat tours as a Special Operations soldier always living for the moment, never realizing what was at stake until the birth of my first daughter in 2004. One year after her birth on 13 August 2005 I was caught in the biggest battle of my life -- a spiritual battle between the Lord Almighty and the Devil. I was lost -- lost like goofball in high weeds but the Lord was providing me away out. When the Devil has his claws deep in he don’t let go easy- he puts up a fight. The Lord broke me down like a double barreled shotgun. I was weeping in the middle of our cow pasture and I eventually surrender all of this A type pride, self-righteousness and manhood over to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on that hot humid Saturday afternoon. You see, I’d been serving another god -- the god of this world mentioned in 2 Corinthians 4:4. I had no idea I was on the road to hell leading my family down that same path of destruction. And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house -- Acts 16:31The Lord had bigger plans for me -- more than just a Special Operations soldier. He gave me children not to raise but to train. Train up a child in the way that they should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it -- -Proverbs 22:6.
Either you’re saved or you’re not saved -- you can’t be in the middle. One day you’ll woke up with the Lord Jesus Christ or you’ll wear up with the devil. Don’t be like that man in Luke 16:23, please. Either you’ll be in glory or you’ll be in hell. Once you get saved it’s not just getting something for nothing -- it’s getting EVERYTHING for nothing! You wanna go to Heaven -- trust Jesus Christ! You wanna go to Hell -- trust something else.

To answer my questions: YES I’M SAVED. The Lord Jesus Christ Blood covered MY SINS at Calvary Cross and HE saved me. He paid my debts. He saved me from Hell. A. Sick man doesn’t die because he’s sick -- he dies because he can’t get well. I took the CURE in 2005 for my sick sinful self.

For the unsaved man, this earth is as close as he gets to heaven.
For the saved man, this earth is as close as I get to hell.
God bless all….

That’s great you described it as having no choice. When you want to explore the heart of the Gospel (Good News), read Martin Luther’s “Bondage of the Will”.
