From YouTube:
It’s a free country, but not so much in California, where there’s:
“No fires, no parking, all animals must be on a leash, no photography, camping not permitted, no lifeguard on duty, penalties will apply, permit required. Gun free zone, noise ordinance enforced. Fly quietly, minimum altitude 1000 feet. No ATV’s, personal watercraft prohibited, wake limit strictly enforced, plastic bags no longer available, tow-away zone. Fishing permit required, environmentally sensitive area, no dogs allowed, se habla espanol.”
Bill Whittle explains how places like California are ruining any sense of liberty, and are also taking away the fun of living here.
Exactly, I brought an employee of mine from the Philippines to Southern California for a week to do some training. After hours we took him out to see a lot of the sights. After visiting the beach he was amazed by all the rules. His joke the rest of the time was that California was the state of “NO”.
Hey Bill, yea I live in Ca. Way up northern Ca, and it’s a little different up here. I have been known to shoot from my porch, and we do big “burn piles” from time to time,It’s not as free as Texas up here but compared to southern ca… it’s paradise. Not sure where you live but it doesn’t sound good.Up here our greatest fears would include forest fires and encroachment from the mass’s from the Bay Area. With all that said I am planning to move to Idaho,Montana or Wyoming in the not too distant future. I have always had a fond respect for Texas attitude, just like the mountains a bit more. I/we always enjoy your specific style, thanks for what you do.
