Don’t count on a clear answer to any question when put to a member of the political Establishment. The very first skill one must master to aspire to that height is the ability not to answer a question clearly. One must learn to deflect, to obfuscate, and to circumlocute. A clear, truthful answer could mean your ass. Garland understands this.
You THINK you have a constitution.
You THINK you have a Republic.
You THINK you have checks and balances.
You THINK you have a fair/blind system of justice.
You THINK a lot of things that are good and technically true, but when they mean nothing to some and are not applied, what you THINK means nothing.
You would have thought that years ago, SOMEBODY would have come up with the idea of “The office of constitution protection” or something along those lines. But it seems like most/all of the political parties were in cahoots to subvert the constitution by any means they could…………. very sad
