Backhoes are on tires, excavators are on tracks.

Midwest, we have backhoes, excavators, and mini excavators. we are diversified and inclusive at times. Chuckle.

Skid steer ers. Thats a tuff one. i say bobcat, yet there are a few brands now. They have tires and tracks. so confused!

Backhoe is on tires with a bucket in front and an excavator arm/bucket off the back. Excavator is on tracks and has only 1 giant arm with a bucket and can spin 360 degrees.
