I understand that there is some leeway in the above projections. They have left out any consequences of crime and fear based actions. Mental illness and addicts both will have an impact once medications and drugs are not available. One fact is assured: the people who caused this will be sitting safely in their bunkers.

My father use to tell the story of different things that happened in the 1930’s living on a farm next to a river in the upper mid west. One of the things that he told was his father would have corn and oats and wheat in the river bottom and would always have a good if not decent crop every year, well with the times and money being short for everyone, people would come the gavel roads along his corn fields at night and they would pick ears of corn. corn that was still in the milk stage. they would come with buckets, baskets and even sacks to pick ears of corn at night when they thought no one was watching. Dad said that at corn picking time in the fall of the year, there would be as much as 10 to 15 rolls of corn wouldn’t have ears of corn on the stocks and there wouldn’t be corn for up to a 1/3 of mile in length at times. some of the people that Dad said that some of people included were ministers, maybe a banker or two, but mostly every day people. Grandpa , in his own way was helping people out. Could and would the same thing now a days, good question.?

Hopefully there will be enough of us surviving to be awaiting them as they emerge therefrom. There will be no police or law to protect them then.
Yes, they will be hiding safely in their bunkers and protected by row after row of concertina wire and personal body guards – UNTIL those charged with the feeding and upkeep of the guillotines come calling for the next round of feeding. Those are the one who just wanted to be left alone. They have poked the wrong bear, he sleeps no more.
