How did the Los Angeles riots start? It wasn’t random ICE raids.

That was propaganda.
ICE were serving a series of criminal warrants on a particular business being investigated for money laundering for the drug cartels. This business is also suspected of human trafficking.… pic.twitter.com/XGFH1NhA96

Things are getting worse each day. It’s hard to accept. We live in a cesspool.
And this is not a ‘one-off’ thing going on in the Los Angeles area. There are apartment units with 1 bedrooms packed with 20 or more individuals within each–run by traffickers and cartels… taking juice off of workers who are here illegally. And it’s not just Mexican and south americans who are involved with this.
Some years ago I was doing a job for a very, very prominent Korean family who had a nightclub just off of Wilshire Blvd, next to a Metro Station. The family was run by a dominant Korean woman (the mother) who had two sons who ran this nightclub with karoke bar on top. I needed some physical help and she got on the phone–and within a few minutes half dozen Korean men showed up to help. Some of them wearing tour tags on their suits–meaning they came on a tour group and overstayed their visas.
Turns out this prominent Korean woman owned many apartment complexes in Korea town and she was trafficking Koreans into the USA–packing them into her apartments and taking juice off their work. She was also paying off LA City inspectors and local police (including one top LAPD commander) to look the other way. Her eldest son was involved with extasy pill trafficking at the time as well.
You’ll find similar arrangement within the Chinese community (huge in So Cal BTW) and Vietnamese communities… excluding the Japanese expat community–who by and large adhere to rules and laws by custom. There are very few illegal Japanese in So-Cal–knowing this as I live in the epicenter city of Japanese culture in the USA.
The illegal Mexicans and South Americans have staked out huge swaths of Los Angeles city itself… not to mention other cities like San Bernadino which has devolved into something akin to “Escape from New York” in the last 20 years. Stockton is largely deserted and dystopic due to illegals. As well as other central California valley cities, being overrun by illegals.
Some years ago, Oxnard (real name BTW) City counsel held a meeting contemplating on how to draw more people into downtown Oxnard. One city counsel member suggested, “We can turn it into a version of Tijuana.” And the sole sane remaining member on the counsel replied, “It already is Tijuana.”
Absolutely. I am home weekends and run from Great Falls Montana now to Fontana, then around the Modesto area to grab wine and bring it back home. I haven’t been down here for 25 years, back in maybe 99 or so when I turned 21 and first started OTR. it’s insane how much worse it’s gotten. It’s beyond me how the majority of these drivers got their cdl, since none of them can speak English. Thankfully, I’m only in this 3rd world wasteland for a couple days.
