Here’s a question no one is asking: Are the secret recording/s of conversations, without notifying those involved, allowed in the state in which they were made?
Here, in Maine, recording conversations ‘without” prior notification IS allowed. However, in Massachusetts and other states, this is NOT allowed.
What are those state’s laws regarding the recording of conversations and what are the consequences of taking such recordings?
Are they admissible in a court of law? And if not, are they “fruit of the poisonous tree”, thus, rendering them inadmissible and subject to legal prosecution?
