We’re on a bus being driven by a suicidal maniac. The driver has surrounded himself with other suicidal maniacs. The bus is full, we’re seated near the back, and most of our fellow-travelers are either suicidal themselves or else really don’t much care what’s going on.
Question: should we vote in a new bus driver? Hint: the current driver and his buddies will manage the election and count the votes so we can be sure it will be fair.
