VP Vance joined fellow Marines on the rifle range and took 2 shots from hundreds of yards away

1 was a head shot and the other was center mass

Compare this to Tim Walz as vice-president.
Head shot at hundreds of yards with that kind of wind and no practice shots? I call BS (until I see pictures).
Tim Walz probably would have been like that naval commander who got canned after installing his scope backwards.
Very windy, large muzzle brake, suspect large caliber rifle. Vance is a relatively big dude and recoil moves him noticeably.
Some of the follow-on posts were most amusing.
Yes they are!
If the target carriers are the 6ftx6ft on most KD ranges, I’m thinking he was on the 600yd line.
Looked like a Barret to me. Big cal. I don’t think it was a .50. None the less, I’m thinking at least 400 yards on a windy day. You could hear the ping. Unless someone was standing behind him with a gong and a hammer, not a bad job.
Rifle looks like a .50 caliber Barrett. Or maybe a .338 Lapua. Either way both buck wind very well.
Well done VP Vance!
I’m going with Lapua.
