Joanna Martin “Publius Huldah” Delivers Monumental Article V U.S. Constitution Speech

It appears that people are just becoming aware how corrupted our system of government has become. Some of these “newbys” are looking at solutions including an Article V convention of the states. I hope that they can curb their enthusiasm long enough to look at how badly this could turn out. I also hope they study our history and learn what happened the last time the colonies met to discuss modifying the Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union. The delegates from twelve colonies met (Rhode Island and the Providence Plantations did not send any delegates) and decided that they could not save the current confederation. In their wisdom, they decided to abolish the existing government and this conference became the Constitutional Convention.

And these were moral men.

“I hope that they can curb their enthusiasm long enough to look at how badly this could turn out.” Not could. Would. Every commie-lib dirt-bag in the U.S. will show up and reform America into their image. We need to stay as far away from an Article V convention as we can get.

Not this article V nonsense again. In the current political climate of this country, calling a convention now would be an unmitigated disaster. Besides which, that’s a process that is entirely of the current system, and is therefore wholly inadequate for what needs to be done.

I understand the frustration of those who are making noise about calling an article V convention, but that just isn’t the way. These are the types who are pathologically incapable of contemplating the need for something more forceful than the political process. As a result, all they have to offer are half measures.

I am not constitutionally illiterate. I listened to Ms. Martin’s entire lecture. I wish she could create some constitution lesson in videos regarding different issues we are currently faced with. For instance: the Big Beautiful Bill. Lessons in constitutional literacy are sorely needed asap if we are to save this nation. Thank you so much for this lecture. It was an eye opener.

What would changing the Constitution accomplish when they don’t go by the one we have now?

It would, with the influence of leftist subversives, codify many terrible ideas into the Constitution. And you can bet they would subsequently find a new zeal for strict enforcement of (those new parts) of the Constitution they desired. The only parts of the current constitution they don’t follow are the ones they don’t like. Admittedly, that’s most parts of it.

A magnificent dissertation of the Constitution, and thank you North Carolina Renegade for posting that. The sad part is but nobody gives a s*** anymore. I have preached the constitution for the last 35 years, it has fallen on deaf ears a very low percentage of the people understand what the Constitution is. Most likely this will go nowhere, I wonder if Trump,Vince, pash,Dombi have ever even read the Constitution. I personally believe that every senator, judge, Congress critter, lawyer since 1913 should be arrested, charged with treason and violation of the Constitution, I believe their assets should be seized as per probate as for life as per death as per rules and regulations of probate all the way back to 1913 when the when the Federal Reserve Act was ratified which it wasn’t and I will under no circumstances commit suicide.

I’d rather us seek secession than the horrors an article V convention would bring.

It would be the most non violent option. A national divorce may be exactly what is needed to showcase the bankruptcy of liberal policies.

far too late for the peaceful path, haven’t you watched the democrat’s militant arms of anti-fart along with burn, loot and murder in action. Regaining the Republic will require harsher measures.

No System can be put on “automatic” without Majority Citizen participation and expected to comply with its mandated constitution.
and Once corrupted …. to be optimistic the Poles did throw the Bolsheviks Out of Poland back in the Soviet Empire collapse days.
but then does that neccesitate the collapse of the USSA Empire???

It would be worse than opening Pandora’s Box, as the Deep State and their vassals within the government, would bring new, worse evils to the table and ensure they were part of the changes. Since they control state legislatures as well, getting it passed on a national level would be child’s play.

Any new Constitution would have its own mode of ratification. E.g., the proposed Constitution for the Newstates of America provides at Art. XII thereof that it is ratified by a national referendum called by the President. So whoever controls the voting machines would determine the outcome….
http://www.sweetliberty.org/issues/concon/newstates.htm
Remember, our first Constitution, The Articles of Confederation, provided at Art. XIII thereof that no Amendments would be valid unless ratified by all of the then 13 States and by the Continental Congress. During Feb. 1787, a Convention was called by the Congress for “the sole and express purpose of revising the Articles of Confederation”. But the Delegates to the “Amendments” Convention ignored their instructions and proposed a new Constitution which provided at Art. VII thereof that it would be ratified when only 9 of the then 13 States ratified it. James Madison justified this departure from Congress’ instructions by appealing to that “transcendent and precious right” of a People to throw off one gov’t and set up a new one.
The hidden agenda behind the push for an Article V Convention is to get a new Constitution. This is why James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, 4 US Supreme Court Justices, and other jurists and scholars warn AGAINST an Art. V convention.

Article Five, a very bad slippery slope that would nullify the Constitution along with the Bill of Rights.
