Jon McNaughton’s Patriotic Portrait Supports Gun Rights

In his new painting “Stand Your Ground,” noted American artist Jon McNaughton captures the spirit of American freedom and patriotism.

This stunning lithograph depicts a single, well-armed, well-trained patriot proudly holding a U.S. flag. He stands as a symbol for Second Amendment rights and love of country who, as McNaughton says, refuses to “back down to any kind of aggressor.”

In explaining what inspired him to paint “Stand Your Ground,” McNaughton adds, “I wanted to paint a picture that represents why I think gun ownership is important. Since our country’s inception, we have proudly believed in the right of each citizen to own firearms. No man, or group, can take away these unalienable rights.”
