I live in High Point and we used to go down to Elm St. when it was just starting to gentrify in the 90s. It had a bunch of old book stores and ratty antique shops, but you could still tell that it was ghetto and not a place to be after dark. Now its all nightclubs, bars and Damn Yankees (like that Sommers guy in the video) while the demographics have swung to 40% black as of 2012. Basically, its turning into a Northern city.

Not a place to be when the Zimmerman verdict comes in.
