BEE TREE DAM is close to failure… this area is NOW being evacuated. all Bee Tree valley and downstream Biltmore needs to evacuate now. We just received this information from the Buncombe County Sheriff's office.

Note that if you follow the valley (Bee Tree Valley) Southwards, you will see how the water escaping from the ruptured dam, when it occurs, will course through various open areas but will land squarely on the Northwest portion of the town of Swannanoa.
You may recall that portions of that town, lying low near the river, have been swept away in the recent Helene initiated flooding.
All of this is so so sad or all of the displaced families. I am so sorry for them all, am afraid it is going to be a long hard winter for a lot of families. Everyone Take Care and Be Safe God Bless All
