Sorry, makes no sense. What does “voted OUT of the committee for FBI Director” mean? Guess I don’t understand the lingo. I read that he’s inline for approval by a Senate vote next.

His nomination was moved OUT of the Committee TO the full Senate for a vote. Otherwise, the nomination would be said to have died IN committee. So, yes, the Senate vote is next.
