Yes, I agree. Too many cops like to play Cowboys and Indians. It’s an adrenaline rush to kick doors in and subjugate the inhabitants. Guilt or Innocence is a low priority compared to the “Hunt”.
If police want respect they had better show some respect for their fellow citizens.
