I love Kid Rocks’ music, energy and enthusiasm, but like so many others he misses the mark by a mile. From our Declaration:

“… these United Colonies are, and of right ought to be free and independent states …”

NOT a collection of subordinate provinces under a National government in a “… more perfect union …”

And certainly not conquered by a domestic army of our brethren and subject to the Reconstruction of that “… more perfect union …” to ensure their perpetual slavery to the State.
